BDM seeks to honor Jesus Christ through evangelism program and to equipping deaf people to become lifelong servant leaders in their communities and in the world. We provide comprehensive biblical teaching which creates a strong christian foundation for future and competitive environment.
We strive to be a Christian mission in essence – that instills Christian morals in the community by preaching the gospel and preparing deaf to be literate, academically successful and technologically competent in Africa.
To Establish a Deaf Church
Tanzania has approximately 800,000 deaf population and 30 states. Those deaf really need to know about Jesus Christ. Such a need would require an availability of churches and pastors in Tanzania.
To Establish a Christian School for the Deaf
Only several deaf Tanzanians have enrolled in schools successfully while the rest of deaf Tanzanians lack opportunities for education due to shortage of specialized schools and the high cost of education in Tanzania. The availability of Christian schools for the deaf people in Tanzania would provide them with general education and vocational training and give hope to their lives in Jesus Christ and through the Word of God.
To Establish a Deaf Bible College
Since many deaf people from Tanzania and other African countries could be called by God to serve as pastors, evangelists, missionaries and other Christian workers, there is an urgent need for a Bible college in Tanzania in order to equip them with essential Biblical knowledge and appropriate training to serve Lord and to spread God‘s Word to the deaf people all over the African Continent.
